I set up Amok in 2000, upon my return from working in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. At that time KL was a rapidly developing urban centre and in the process of building the worlds highest skyscraper, the Petronas Towers which were completed in 1996. It was a fascinating city to work in architecture. Initially I worked for Ken Yeang, a leading and groundbreaking architect who amongst other projects designed bioclimatic skyscrapers, looking towards environmentally sustainable office towers. During my time in KL I also worked for Davenport Campbell, who interior designed luxury hotels and high-end office spaces throughout South East Asia and Australia.

I obtained a first class degree in Interior Architecture at Brighton University, a leading UK design school. Then completed four years post-graduate study at the Architectural Association (Richard Rogers, Norman Foster, Zaha Hadid) and I am part 2 certified by RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects).

Upon my return from KL I set up the company Amok in order to apply leading edge architecture and interior design to residential projects in Greater London, where interest and investment in cutting edge residential homes was just taking off. Since then I have completed more than 100 residential projects – ranging from single rooms to large- scale projects including both extensions and complete remodeling etc. Services include concept design, drawings, obtaining planning permission, project contract administration and interior design.

Using Amok, a firm with both interior design and architectural services cuts cost, centralizes responsibility and leads to a better outcome, seamless transition between external and internal design.
