Mid Century Bungalow
While our clients continued to enjoy the location of their current home, they had outgrown the layout. The traditional cellular nature of the post-war bungalow no longer served the needs of their growing family. Their desire for space for each of the family members to chill, entertain, read and play music was not currently being met.
West End Conversion
Our client outlined her desire to turn her home into something more individual and fun, and one that very much reflects her love of life and colour and indeed her colourful personality. She wanted a dressing room incorporated into the master bedroom to house her curated collection of clothes, shoes and vintage handbags.
Glenmor Lodges
We were invited by Ennismore, owners of The Gleneagles Hotel, to work along side their creative team in reimagining their luxury holiday lodges, set in the grounds of the world renowned hotel. The emphasis was on practicality and durability, teamed with a strong design element, to fulfil the expectations of their discerning owners. We adopted an enticing palette of heritage colours, warm and earthy neutral tones and a variety of luxurious and textural fabrics to reflect the fabulous views of the surrounding countryside.
Listed Townhouse
Retired business owners move to the city, searching for a unique home and an interior unique to them. The property has seen several reincarnations from ballet school to snooker hall to private residence and immediately ticked the box. All the rooms were extra large with grand ceilings, so standout creativity and over scaled bespoke furniture, designed by the team, were required to achieve the home of their dreams.
Westend Townhouse
A classical family home remodelled to suit the specific needs of the clients. We updated the traditional layout of the house by reconfiguring its cellular nature to create an enduring, stylish and more open plan ground floor. Many of the bedrooms were surplus to the family’s requirement and a master suite was created instead, comprising bedroom, his and hers dressing rooms and an ensuite bathroom. The remaining rooms were personalised for the teenage children to reflect their interests and home study needs.
Converted Farm
A young entrepreneur requested interiors to reflect his exuberant personality which informed our use of a bold colour palette and luxurious fabrics. We created intimate and luxurious spaces some from rooms with double height vaulted ceilings.
Unconventional Glasgow student pad
On this project our client, a mature bachelor, was happy to let us create the ultimate space to study, relax and enjoy the odd whisky. His brief was for us to provide a Gentleman’s club feel and to incorporate a wall to wall bookcase where he could display his extensive book collection and numerous carefully curated editions of Vogue magazine.
Dowans Hotel
Longstanding clients, who have become close friends, made the bold move of purchasing a beautiful, architecturally important Victorian residence on Speyside to open as a family run boutique hotel. The synergy of substance and style is fundamental to the commercial success of the project, as is manageability and functionality of product used. Designs were crafted in our Glasgow studio, project managed and implemented remotely.
Showhome Botanics Development
Sited in the former grounds of the renowned BBC Scotland studios, we were asked to create a statement showhome, in an award winning townhouse, built by David Wilson Homes. The brief was to imagine an environment where families with young children, who prefer a West End lifestyle, would relocate to establish a home. We created sumptuous public rooms, children’s bedrooms with strong identities and a glamorous master suite haven on the top floor. Art deco inspired gilded wallcovering, warm jewel tones with flecks of gold and oversized mirrors inject character in to this strong build to reflect the quality of the construction.
