Decibel Designs

Decibel Designs is an interior design practice established over 20 years ago (1986).

The company specialises in residential projects. Commercial work is also undertaken and has included office, gallery, and retail design.

Commissions range in size from half-day consultations, to single room refurbishments, to whole house / property design.

Interior design consultant Sarah Wodehouse is assisted by Emma McGilchrist.

Sarah has extensive experience in contemporary design. She studied for her degree in History of Art and Architecture at the University of East Anglia. Her design references range from the antique to avant-garde.

She enjoys collaborating with clients to define their individual needs, addressing the key issues of practicality, comfort, and style

Sarah also ensures that the services necessary for modern living (eg. audio visual and lighting systems) are incorporated into even the most traditional properties, as and when required.

Over the years, a network of invaluable relationships has been established with architects, project managers, specialist suppliers, and crafts people. These contacts enable Decibel Designs to create the appropriate team for each project.
