The Salterns
Client: Premier Marinas – Completion Date: March 2016
Commissioned by Premier Marinas, we designed their first short stay properties consisting of nineteen 2/3 bedroom self catering apartments, set on the edge of their award winning marina at Chichester Harbour.
Our involvement began with the initial planning and concept stages through to the final installation, including procurement services, whilst providing continued design development and support throughout the duration of the project.

Cadogan Place
This Grade II listed apartment spreads over three floors of a six storey building. The re-plan introduces a new staircase which rises through the core of the apartment and together with the use of roof lights and crittall glazing, floods natural light through the heart of the building.

Salcombe Harbour Hotel & Spa
Client: Nicolas James Group – Completed January 2014
This landmark hotel site on the south Devon coast will be transformed by reconfiguring the existing space to create a total of 50 bedrooms, 11 of which are new and benefit from spectacular coastline views. The hotel’s extended public area will create a welcoming social hub for Salcombe with a destination restaurant “The Jetty,’ crustacean bar and function lounge, all of which open out onto a sweeping terrace offering breathtaking views across the estuary.
By excavating into the cliff wall, two spa levels will be formed; the first level will provide Spa Reception, 5 treatment rooms and a fitness suite; the lower level will be more subterranean, with a swimming pool, spa pool and heat experiences. The finishes and use of materials will reflect the lightness of the upper floor and the deeper, richer tones of the subterranean level.
Our objective is to fuse this hotel with Salcombe’s identity; to create an environment of relaxation, tranquility and beauty using natural materials, textures and tones to connect this property to its surroundings.
