Eliská Design Associates was asked to produce an inter-cultural inspired interior for a private residence in London’s Connaught village. Eliská chose to blend distinctive details reminiscent of historic Lahore with quintessential English antiques and contemporary finishes
Eliská Design Associates designed and oversaw the total refurbishment of a three bedroom Penthouse apartment in Central London. The apartment was designed to reflect and enhance the client’s extraordinary eclectic collections of Art Deco, Mid Century and Contemporary furniture and artefacts, as well as other antiques including early 17th and 18th Century portraiture. The apartment was fitted with a home cinema, bespoke integrated kitchen and boasts other state of the art ‘smart home’ features- including fully integrated sound systems, ‘smart’ lighting and under floor heating. Eliská also initiated the restoration of a fully functioning retractable roof.
Eliská Design Associates designed a Master bedroom and en suite bathroom for Mayfair apartment. The bedroom features a leather panelled wall with a bespoke headboard inspired by the Art Deco period. The apartment was fitted with state of the art adjustable lighting systems, incorporated into the architrave to create a soft light throughout. The bathroom was fitted with Italian Marble bath and shower, and Eliská designed a bespoke Eucalyptus and Macassar wood Vanity to accompany.
With direct views of London’s Hampstead Heath, Eliská Design Associates designed this apartment for an American client as an idyllic ‘Home away from Home’. Furniture was sourced from both England and Europe, and artwork was sourced by Eliská from a variety of London galleries.
Eliská Design Associates undertook a refurbishment of a two bedroom Notting Hill apartment. Eliská designed and installed a leather clad lift door on entrance to the apartment, and carried this design feature through to the doors in the apartment and the bookcase. Furniture was produced bespoke to the client by Decca in a natural palette using J. Robert Scott and Rubelli fabrics. Eliská designed a bespoke black lacquer desk with contrasting red lacquer inserts.
Eliská collaborated for this project with a London based architect. The bar was being split into two separate entities and Eliská worked with the clients to coherently differentiate the spaces through clever design, to a budget. The clients were installing a craft beer and Prosecco on tap bar as the ground floor, and wanted an atmospheric cocktail lounge in the basement. The entrance bar brought together a cool toned monochromatic colour scheme and industrial accents such as metro tiled walls , exposed steel and wooden bar tops and embossed pressed tin panels to the bar front. Eliská involved a lighting designer to produce playful industrial fixtures in the bar- such as tap fittings which featured as lights. This industrial feel was contrasted to the basement lounge bar, where mood lighting and a scheme of deep amber was complimented by the bespoke, riveted copper bar with matching accessories.
