Form_art is a design led architectural practice dedicated to realising  contemporary architecture of the highest quality.

We specialise in arts and heritage-based projects including the restoration, refurbishment and innovative re-use of historic buildings.

We foster a collaborative approach with clients, consultants and end users, maximising opportunities and ensuring that distinctive projects with fresh and creative solutions are realised within budget and programme.

Alison McLellan (Director) established Form_art architects in 2004 following over a decade working in London and Berlin, with internationally acclaimed architects Stirling Wilford & Associates (Michael Wilford & Partners) and Stanton Williams. She has delivered a wide variety of projects including galleries, museums, visitors’ and performing arts centres, realising innovative design solutions for clients including English Heritage and Tate. Alison has an ongoing involvement with architectural education and teaches at the University of Westminster.
