Phaz Cafe A ‘Grab & Go,’ ready prepared food facility was required by House Services, located within The Faculty of Science at UWE. The servery and seating areas are placed in a busy area and have good outside visibility. Strong science themed graphics and colour made full use of the location.
Hampton House Medical Centre Lesley Wihl worked for a Bristol Based architectural practice who required an ‘interior finishes’ package for Hampton House Medical Centre. The refurbishment of Hampton House, formally the Bristol Homeopathic Hospital, Cotham, was developed by Bristol Infracare LIFT Ltd, for the Bristol South and West NHS PCT.
Core 24 Cafe & Bar A finishes and concept package was required by The University to give an existing bar a fresh identity. New furniture, strong graphics and signage were developed to complete the refurbishment.
Henbury Golf Club Lesley Wihl worked with an architectural practice to fully refurbish the existing club house and provide new terrace and professional shop facilities. Lighting layouts, finishes details and joinery designs were provided for the new bar and lounge areas.
Chelsea House Nursing Home Lesley Wihl formed part of the consultant team, to provide a full interior concept and furnishing package for a new NHS elderly care unit. Working closely with the client, carers, specialist team and the architects practice, a deep understanding of the brief was established. A caring, ‘home environment’ was developed which was enhanced by the use of colour and textures, aiding the elderly clients through their space.
Lesley Wihl is a Freelance Designer and Interior Consultant. Since her company was established in 1990 she has successfully created interior projects within a variety of areas, including commercial, leisure, residential & healthcare.
By understanding her clients’ needs and using her experience, Lesley has produced individual projects with their own identity.
