Edward Lipton – Creative Director

As Creative Director since 2012 he drives the vision of the studio. Most engaged when working on solving problems with the entire team of architects at one of LPA’s ‘Revuesdays’, Ed’s belief in the power of architecture, his lateral line of enquiry and creative pragmatism steers the team in maximising the potential of every brief. His tenacious approach can be seen in action as one of 5 chosen architects in Channel 4’s ‘Ugly House to Lovely House’. Ed led the studio’s widely publicised 2016 RIBA award winning scheme ‘The Bath House Children’s Community Centre’ in Hackney which epitomises LPA’s Creative Strategy.

Jonathan Plant – Managing Director

At the helm of the business, Jonathan is Managing Director of LPA leading the managerial and organisational side of the practice since 2012. Supportive and effective at steering the team both creatively and practically, every scheme LPA studio takes on, Jonathan ensures clients and colleagues, confidently and successfully go beyond the original objectives. Jonathan’s approach has been crucial in LPA’s growth and development and its track record in delivery. Jonathan has lead on some of the studio’s most significant schemes, including award winning Alwyn Place.
