Glass Extension This property is located in a Conservation area with ornate period rooms but limited views and access to the large garden beyond. The owners of this period house required a new family room and kitchen with a glass extension that seamlessly blended the indoor and outdoor spaces. We used structural glass walls with frameless sliding doors to achieve this, with a sloping glazed roof light between the new extension and the kitchen to bring light into the deeper part of the house.
House Extensions This section shows a variety of smaller extension projects we have carried out to houses from Victorian terraced to 1930s semi-detached. Each design is customized to suit the clients brief and the features of the house and location. Budget is also a determining factor which we examine at the sketch design stage to assess the options for the client.
House In Surrey The owners had outgrown their modernist style 1930s house and it was extended and renovated in keeping with the original design. The brief was to improve the circulation through the house and to open it up to the garden. The house is now spacious and light with a striking new staircase topped by a domed rooflight.
House In Wimbledon A two storey extension to the rear was added to accommodate new master bedroom, kitchen/dining room and family room. The ground floor was designed to enclose the external dining area with a curved glass sliding door which opens up the family room to the garden in summer months.
Loft Conversion In Bermondsey This building was originally a school and the owners bought a top floor apartment with soaring roof space allowing a striking three storey space to be converted inside on a tight budget keeping original features of the building.
