Lodges & Clubhouse Country / Traditional All Skibo Castle lodges have their individual style, the surroundings providing the inspiration, and average five bedrooms in size with en-suite bathrooms, fully fitted kitchens, allowing guests and families to be completely independent with back-up of the Club’s infrastructure. Victoria Fairfax Interiors worked on ten lodges, most of them requiring a complete overall and internal re-configuration, finished to a very high standard, inline with the Castle itself.

Mayfair Town / Traditional One of very few remaining unconverted grade-listed Georgian townhouses located in the heart of Mayfair, incorporating many important architectural features. The project entailed the complete refurbishment of over thirty rooms on six floors, completed to an excellent standard in a challenging timeframe. Fresh and roomy living areas combined with warm yet formal entertaining rooms made this Mayfair project one of which Victoria Fairfax Interiors is justifiably proud.

Geneva Continental / Country One of the most important lakeside properties situated close to Geneva. Features include impressive grounds, a gardener’s lodge, boathouse, a private jetty and breakwater. Victoria Fairfax Interiors was commissioned to carry out an extensive re-modelling of the property’s interior, working closely with Geneva-based architects In’ka Architecture and trade specialists co-ordinated via the UK, achieving a fine degree of customisation to both fixtures and furniture.

Sussex Country / Traditional A grade-one listed property in Sussex, refurbished extensively over a two year period working in collaboration with Ian Adam Smith Architects with bathrooms fittings selected from Drummonds as featured in English Home Magazine.

Spa & Pool House Contemporary / Country Victoria Fairfax Interiors worked with Edinburgh based architects Hugh Martin & Partners to create Skibo Castle’s magnificent pool and spa facilities. The pool was originally built by Andrew Carnegie with a view of the loch, raised to give the illusion of swimming in the loch, a novel idea at the time. The style of the structure was retained together with important features such as the carved stone piers, to which the new floor was matched. The complex includes changing rooms, a sauna and the refurbishment of the original ‘jet-shower’. John Cullen Lighting were appointed to provide the lighting design scheme.
