CNBC Studios CNBC, the world leader in business and financial news, started broadcasting from its brand new studio facilities at its European headquarters in London on the 9th of May 2011. Working alongside our southern partners we acted as interior design consultants and office furniture suppliers for this prestigious network. The scheme needed to be imaginative, striking and yet still functional. To give the space a modern, creative feel we introduced frameless glass walls to the reception area, creating a light open atmosphere and giving visitors the illusion of actually sitting in the studio itself. To this area we also added soft, welcoming seating in the form of the stylish ‘eye’ chair, in striking green and black, giving the ‘wow’ factor when you step out of the lift on to the floor.

Lander Road Primary School Lander Road is a Community Primary School based in Liverpool. As a school they aim to provide a welcoming, secure, stimulating and caring environment in which to learn. Having introduced the Accelerated Reader Programme and looking to achieve the Reading Quality Mark by the end of the academic year, they approached us to refurbish their existing library spaces. The brief was to design areas that would be vibrant, fun and inspirational and develop the students love for reading.

Hopwood Hall Student Social Space Since completing the redesign of the Learning Resource Centres at their Rochdale and Middleton campuses in 2010, Hopwood Hall College has continued it’s redevelopment programme at the Rochdale campus with a £2 million investment this summer. Earlier this year we were invited to design and deliver a new student social space. Our brief was to create a flexible space for the young adults to socialise. A focus group made up of staff and students was formed to establish the aims and objectives of the area.

Tarporley War Memorial Hospital Tarporley War Memorial Hospital has been in existence since 1919 and was built to support those coming back from the First World War. Until 1948 the hospital was financed by local authority contributions, but then the NHS took over the building and its surrounding lands. By 1970, all small hospitals throughout the country were coming under threat of closure and Tarporley was no exception. The people of Tarporley and surrounding villages began a “Save Our Hospital” campaign, and in 1978 a League of Friends was formed to lead the fight. The hospital remains an independent charitable trust and as such is governed by a board of trustees.

Yolli Ltd Yolli Ltd and Loynds International Ltd have been involved in the confectionary business, supplying and manufacturing lollipop sticks, packaging materials, equipment and ingredients for almost 25 years. Earlier this year this Blackpool based, family owned business decided to relocate to bigger, more efficient premises. Yolli employed our services to provide a turnkey design and install solution for the fitting out and furnishing of their new Headquarters.
